“When I worked full time and things would get busy and stressful, I often came to NHHS to visit the cats. I found it extremely relaxing. So now that I am retired and have the extra time, I volunteer a few hours a week. It's very rewarding to be able to give the cats and kittens the attention they deserve and to help socialize them so they can find their ‘forever homes’.”
