After volunteering and working at NHHS for many years, Jeanne went on to become a nurse practitioner. Jeanne’s life has always been filled with animals: dogs, cats, and horses. That list includes a horse that has been in her family for 30 years. Originally a neglect case, the horse was adopted by Jeanne’s sister and is now spending her retirement years on the farm. Jeanne currently raises dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind which has been very rewarding. She is very excited to be a part of New Hampshire Humane Society again. Jeanne hopes to bring her years of animal welfare and animal medical care experience as well as her compassion for animals to help continue the mission of this organization.
