Kat

Meet gorgeous Kat! This silly girl is active, spunky, and loves to play. She is looking for a quieter, low traffic home as she can be nervous of new people, but once she warms up to you, she's an absolute joy to be around! Due to her insecurities around meeting new people, Kat is in our behavior program. Check out what she's working on below!

Kat’s strengths:

Kat is super food motivated, loves her toys, and falls hard for the people in her trusted circle. Once she is comfortable with you, she's a total goofball!

What needs some improvement:

This sweet girl is nervous of strangers and lots of activity happening around her can make scared.

What Kat is working on:

Kat has started the process of learning that new people aren't so bad! She doesn't have to interact with everyone she meets and when she does, we take it slow and go at a pace she is comfortable with.

What Kat needs in an adopter:

Kat needs patience, kindness, and someone with the skill to keep her out of and help her work through what she perceives as scary situations. If you can do that, she will reward you with her heart of gold.

Adoption information-

Kids: no kiddos for this nervous gal

Cats: may chase, but could do okay with careful introductions and management

Dogs: she could do okay with the right doggie friend, though she can be picky about the company she keeps
