I started in November of 2012. I adopted several cats from a shelter and by doing so I decided to become a volunteer. Fun fact: When I first started volunteering, I had four cats, and now I have eight! Read More
The NH Humane Society offered a different type of shopping experience during the 2018 holiday season by inviting community members to the annual Adopt-A-Thon --- on-site for the first time in 12 years at the Meredith Center Road location. “Doggone Friday” was held on November 23, and “Caturday” occurred on November 24. In total, 27 puppies and adult dogs, and 32 kittens and adult cats were adopted through the event and welcomed into new homes. Read More
The NH Humane Society recently welcomed a new member to its Board of Directors and named a new board president. Tony Matos, CEO and founder of the Altos Agency, has taken on the role of NH Humane Society board president, and Ray Boelig, president of the Lakes Region Home Builders and Remodelers Association, is the newest board member.
