The NH Humane Society was thrilled to participate in Subaru of New England's second annual #SNELovesPets campaign during the month of October.  SNE asked New England pet owners to help reach a goal of $60,000 by sharing a picture of their pets using #SNELovesPets. For every picture posted to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, SNE pledged to donate $5 to one of the six organizations (one humane organization in each of the six New England states). Read More

Sarah C is our volunteer of the month for November. Sarah began her volunteer experience at the shelter just 2 short months ago, but has already become an integral part of the team. Full of energy and always cheerful, Sarah volunteers her time working with the cats, in the social rooms and lobby. Sarah has also had additional training in an enrichment program to help the very shy and fearful cats learn to trust and accept people, getting them that one step closer to their forever home. The Gilford High School French Club raised $130 at their annual Halloween costume contest and voted to donate the proceeds this year to the New Hampshire Humane Society.  The French Club is comprised of 30-40 students, grades 9-12, and overseen by advisor Louise Jagusch. Read More
