NH HUMANE'S COMPASSION TOURNAMENT May 1, 2023
New Hampshire Humane Society’s first major event for 2023 will be the 3rd Annual Compassion Tournament on May 1st at Laconia Country Club. More than 100 golfers kicked off the golf season while supporting our important mission.
We are on par to have a sold-out event again this year with lots of promotion through our marketing partner, Laconia Daily Sun, as well as extensive digital and social media posts, and inclusion in New England Pet and Home magazine.
This annual golf tournament benefits the Willow Fund - the emergency animal fund at New Hampshire Humane Society. Since NH Humane rescues homeless animals, there aren't families able to provide care or to help cover costs. With community support, we cover those expenses to save lives. The cost of that care can be expensive. That is especially true with special cases and serious injuries. The Willow Fund makes it possible to assist with any hurt, abused, neglected pets and get them to forever homes after receiving the compassionate care they deserve.
Compassion Tournament registration will begin at 11:30am with a shotgun-start at 1:00pm. All participants are encouraged to bid in the silent auction prior to teeing off. Auction items are sourced from locally owned businesses and New Hampshire Humane Society is grateful to be able to celebrate the generosity of business owners in our region who love animals!
The day of golf will conclude with a post-tournament reception with live music, cocktails, golfer prizes, concluding remarks, and silent auction winners. We look forward to hosting you and appreciate your generous support which allows us to continue advocating for animals and finding them loving families.
