TELLING TAILS

Program Description

The Telling Tails program at New Hampshire Humane Society pairs a reader with appropriate kitty cat friends, and wow, time flies for all involved! The program is for all ages and specifically focuses on youth literacy and pet socialization.

The goals include building literacy skills for the readers, promoting kindness while learning about our furry friends, and offering some quality time for our purring pals so they remain well socialized. Huge wins all around and lots of fun!

This can be an individual or small group opportunity and our small library includes a variety of books to borrow on campus and we have eclectic options to suit diverse audiences. Sessions can be scheduled from Tuesday – Saturday from 12 – 4pm, or by appointment.

New Hampshire Humane Society is more than a rescue and adoption agency. We are a community of passionate advocates who promote kindness, protect animals, support our community, and value diversity by welcoming families and people of all types and backgrounds. All kind, animal-loving people are welcome here. We are not just accepting. Instead, we are actively antiracist, pro-women, and an LGBTQIA+ welcoming organization. Discrimination and unkindness of any kind will not be tolerated here at any level. New Hampshire Humane Society is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and our EIN is 02-6006374. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.  ©2023 by New Hampshire Humane Society
