Youth Volunteers
Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and attend one of our Volunteer Orientations and complete the onboarding process. New Volunteers should complete an application, located on our General Volunteer page. Once the application is received, a member of our staff will reach out for registration for one of our upcoming Orientations. New Volunteer Orientations take place the first Saturday of each month and applicants are notified of registration approximately one month prior to the session.

Fundraising and Event Ideas
Many young people initiate and organize their own fundraising activity or event to benefit the shelter. Some examples of recent efforts include: hosting a car wash, food sales, holding a goods drive at school, hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser, asking for birthday party donations for the shelter, selling raffle tickets at sporting and other events, making catnip toys and collecting blankets for kennels. We would love to hear your ideas!
